EuReComp was actively represented at this year’s EU IndTech 2025 Conference, one of the EU’s flagship events for industrial technology and innovation. The project coordination team from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), with Kate Trombeta as delegate, participated in the discussions and shared key insights from the project’s latest progress.

During the conference, Kate Trombeta delivered an overview of EuReComp’s mission, methods, and emerging results. Particular attention was given to our holistic approach to circularity in composite materials — focusing on sustainable recycling, reuse, and repurposing strategies for large end-of-life structures across sectors like aerospace, automotive, and wind energy.

IndTech 2025 provided an excellent platform for exchanging ideas with fellow researchers, industry representatives, and EU policy stakeholders. Conversations revolved around the real-world implementation of circular practices and how projects like EuReComp can support the EU’s industrial sustainability goals.

We thank the organizers and participants for the engaging dialogue and look forward to building on these exchanges as we move ahead in our work toward a greener and more circular composites industry.
