The primary aim of the holistic tool developed within the EURECOMP project is to provide a user-friendly platform for evaluating the sustainability of recycling processes and for benchmarking safety, environmental, and performance metrics across alternative options. It serves as a comprehensive decision-support system that assists users in selecting the optimal recycling process from multiple candidates, considering performance, cost, environmental impact, circular economy criteria, and social aspects. By employing Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) methodologies, the tool generates a balanced assessment that reflects the inherent trade-offs between potentially conflicting criteria.
